Mangalore, Mar 11: “Language alone helps us express the thoughts, without words thoughts are speechless,” said Dr Sathyanarayana Mallipatna, Kannada Lecturer, Mangalore University. He was speaking after releasing the book ‘Bhashe Emba Ata’ in St Aloysius College recently.

 

The book is the collection of linguistic research article by the III year BA Kannada Optional students.

The motivation behind this effort was the guidance given by Dr Mahalinga Bhat.

 

In addition to the book release a farewell to Fr Eugene Lobo, Principal, St Aloysius College who will be retiring shortly, was also held.

Dr Mahalinga Bhat, Kannada Lecturer, St Aloysius College and the editor of the book, Dr Na Dhamodar Shetty of the Kannada Department and Antony Maurel Lobo, Convenor were also present.
