Mangalore, Apr 5: ‘Ranga Pravesha’ of child artiste Nehal will be held at Town Hall here on Saturday April 7 at 5:30 pm, stated a press release.

Nehal, a student of Natya Shree Nruthyalaya, has been trained by eminent dance teacher Uma K. She is the daughter of Nemiraj, an industrialist and Prathibha Nemiraj, principal, Sharada Vidyalaya School.

Rajya Prashasti winner and Ranga Karmi Sahiti Prof Udyavara Madhava Acharya will preside over the programme. District Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura will be the chief guest while Sharada Institution president and correspondent Prof M B Puranik and former MUDA chairman Kajekar Thejomaya will be the guests of honour. Karnataka Kala Thilaka Sri Ullal Mohan Kumar will bless the occasion.

 

Nehal, whose talent was recognized at the age of three, has made her mark not only at academics but also in dance, music, skating, karate, sports and many more arenas. She has achieved district level, state level and national level awards, stated the release.

She has also secured 93% in the Bharathanatyam junior grade examination conducted by the KSEB in 2006 and was crowned the Xtasy Amazing Kid of 2006.

Nehal will make her debut through the auspicious and traditional Ranga Pravesha by the blessing and spirited guidance of her teachers and parents, the release stated.
