Mangalore: Vasudeva Boloor Elected Mogaveer Mandali President

Mangalore, Jul 28: The DK-Udupi unit of the Mogaveer Vyavasthapak Mandali, which has a history of 104 years, has elected Vasudeva Boloor its new president for 2006-07.  Lakshman Bengre has been elected vice president.

Other office-bearers are Yatish Baikampady (general secretary), Dinakar Mitrapatna and former corporator Revati K Putran (joint secretaries), Bharat Kumar Salian, Yermal Bada (treasurer) and Pushparaj Bengre (joint treasurer).

The members of the new executive committee are P K Salian, Malpe; Sitaram Suvarna, Bolar; Kulashekhar Putran, Bengre; Arvind Salian, Sasihitlu; Ashok Pangal, Kodikal; Bhaskar R Mendon, Kaup; Bhojaraj Karkera, Sasihitlu; Rama S Karkera, Sasihitlu; Rohitaksha R Salian, Kulur; Sadashiva K Kotian, Hejamady; Viviek P Suvarana, Boloor; Suguna V Putran, Hosabettu.

The meeting was chaired by P K Salian, retired professor of the Fisheries College, Mangalore.
