Mangalore, Aug 1: The aptitude of Daijiworld readers to willingly lend a helping hand for genuine causes and needy persons is proved once again, as yet another family gets a ray of hope to live with the monetary help received from all around the world.
In today's world when people fight in the name of religion, here is a sparkling example as to how all religions specially Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jains and others set aside the barriers of caste and creed and come to needy persons' rescue when human value is in peril.
'Bantwal: Ordeal of Sickly Family - Please Help' - the story was published in daijiworld's columns, after a careful verification of the background of Sattar family in Bantwal.
It was just a matter of short time for the response to pour in and within a month's time, over Rs 2,00,00 (two lac) have been received at Sattar's bank account and asssurances of further help are still coming in.
"We never opened a bank account in our life; never did we have the need for that. In fact we had never seen big money," said Sattar, totally overwhelmed, when he came to the daijiworld office just to convey his gratitide on behalf of his wife and kids. "Honestly, even now we don't know what daijiworld is, but now we have come to know that you people give life to the needy," said Sattar with full of emotions. More honestly, dear Sattar, it is not we, but those generous readers all over the world.
"May Allah grant all of you good health, happiness and long life," he blessed each and every one who contributed for this cause.
Well, with this amount, Sattar may not be able to build a house and look after the education of children. But, this amount has given him a new ray of hope, instilling in him a firm belief that human virtues and relationship are still strong in the world. He, despite being sick, is now more enthusiastic about continuing to work and earn daily wages to support his family..
Daijiworld.com, as usual, salutes its readers for helping this family in right time when it was in trouble.
