MP: Muslim couple thrashed by men over beef suspicion

Harda (MP), Jan 15 (PTI): A Muslim couple was allegedly thrashed in a train by right wing activists who insisted on checking their luggage for beef after an unclaimed bag containing meat was found in the train.

The incident sparked a clash between the two sides at Khirkiya station, 30 km from here, after Mohammed Hussain (43) and his wife Naseem Bano (38) called their relatives for help, according to police.

Two members of Gauraksha Samiti have been arrested on Bano's complaint. Nine acquaintances of Hussain were also arrested and got bail. The incident took place on January 13 on Kushinagar Express on its way to Gorakhpur. The trouble began after an unclaimed bag was recovered from the general compartment of Kushinagar Express which contained meat.

Claiming that the bag contained beef though it later turned out to be buffalo meat, about 10-15 people from Chhanera station started checking their train compartment which they had boarded from Khandwa station while returning from Hyderabad.

The couple claimed that the men forcibly searched bags of passengers saying that cow meat was being carted out following which they and some passengers protested.

"They assaulted me and my husband," Bano alleged, adding that they were rescued by a policeman Sanjay Banka.

When the train was about to stop at Khirkiya station, Hussain rang up his acquaintances who came to the station and a fight broke out between the right wing Hindu activists and them which ended with police intervention, District Additional Superintendent of Police, Kiranlata told PTI.

After the incident, police arrested Hemant Rajput and Santosh of right wing Hindu organisation - Gauraksha Samiti - for manhandling Hussain and Bano. The police have also launched a manhunt for seven other accused on the complaint of Bano.
Also, nine acquaintances of Hussain were arrested on the complaint of Hemant and released on bail yesterday following a court order, police said.

Government Railway Police (GRP) have registered a case against two unidentified people in connection with the seizure of buffalo meat.

The trouble began after an unclaimed bag of buffalo meat was recovered from a compartment.
In fact this buffalo meat bag was planted by Hindutva brigade only to brew trouble and enable them to search the bags of other passengers.
Just remember what happened in Hospet (Ballari dist) last month. Hindu brigade crooks printed leaflets against their own Hindu Religion and distributed it themselves and then they themselves created communal trouble by alleging that this leaflet was printed by a Muslim Photographer.

These so called cow protectors should be sent to Punjab, Gujarat and J&K borders to fight the terrorists. There is no difference between the ISIS, Al Qaeda, JEM or Let and these terrorising hindu organisation that terrorise people for carrying beef. Time we send them to the borders or put them behind bars for life.

Under the BJP Government, human beings have no value at all. What a national tragedy of the nation?

Dear friend, the former Governments were interested in family planning, but the current Government is interested in getting rid of the poorest people at first through their beef ban fever, reducing the budgeting of the healthcare 20% and Child and Women Development 50%. Let the rich get richer and they will be donating for the BJP.

The BJP Government has curtailed the financing of many NGOs which were engaged in the humanitarian service especially serving the poorest sections of the society.

The tears of the poorest section is upon the BJP Government as a sword of judgment the losing seats in the elections all across India is the outcome of that tears.

While respecting the feelings and sentiments of Hindus, it hurts me to know that in Hyderabad there is the largest cow slaughterhouse of India, 400 acres big, owned by Al-kabeer from where cow's meat is exported unhindered. When these above type of incidents happen, it comes to our mind why nobody goes there and stops that slaughterhouse where the slaughtering of cows is done by Hindus. Why double standard ? How people outside India get cow's meat from India with conspicuous label ? For more information, go to Al-Kabeer website.

What a shame that such things happen in a train.
People are praising BJP government in the center and the MP state.
Modi is flying all over the world and talking about sub ka saath and sub ka vikas.
Modi has no voice to say no to buffalo meat export.
Modi has no power to stop beef export to all over the world.
These cheap chaddi gangs attack on meak people in the name of saving cows.
Hundreds of cows die every year while crossing railway tracks and roads.
The SC ST and backward classes can afford only beef as non veg meat.
We talk about globalization and FDI.
we talk about make in India
we talk about safety and right for the backward down ridden poor people.
And we thrash some one just because his clothes smell non alcoholic perfume.

Even though MP has no laws enacted like Maharastra and Haryana with 5 and 10 year prison term along with Rs. 10000 and 5000 monetary penalty,
the beef worshippers will not allow the people to live in peace
anywhere in the nation. If somebody is carrying the deer meat, they will be killed by the goons.

Under the BJP rule, these attacks are not going to slow down the jobless street goons like to intimidate and harass defenseless people everywhere they can.

Why so far no such attacks in Gujarat?
