The one and only way to fulfil this desire is to own a perfect home, a palace instead of a standard home that can make your living amazing and extraordinary. This is what the residents of ‘Maurishka Palace’ the quintessential skyscraper located in posh Kadri Kambla Road area, have been experiencing in the past one year. These residents are proud and delighted of having made the right decision to opt for a home at Maurishka Palace. They say they are living in the lap of luxury with elegance and contemporary flair and that too in one of the most vibrant and enviable neighbourhoods with easy access to all walks of life and with some spectacular features.
True to its name ‘Maurishka Palace”, the most ambitious and largest of the projects of Land Trades till date, inaugurated on May 29, 2015 has succeeded in giving to its residents the true feeling of living in a palace. These residents have been very vocal in sharing their delight of living in this unique, stunning and very upscale apartment. It was the brand value of “Land Trades” and the credibility and personal approach of Shrinath Hebbar that had convinced the buyers to opt for an apartment here. It has been one year since the skyscraper with 330 units of 2 and 3 BHK architectural marvel was handed over to the proud residents. Many of them started living here since then and some moved in as per their conveniences in recent months and it is only after living there one is able to get a clear picture of what life inside is.
Accolades aplenty
Amazingly all of them expressed their satisfaction regarding the facilities provided, the central location, the peaceful ambience, ample lung space, the foolproof security system, availability of water in abundance, the massive club house, sports, health and fitness benefits and a host of other facilities. The residents are pleased with the quick response of the builder and the cordiality of the staff in responding to their needs. Sunita Furtado a professional turned homemaker and resident of 14th floor at Maurishka is quite pleased with the comfortable life she has been able to enjoy because of the calm and serene ambience, the privacy factor, utilities provided and the safety arrangement. Since her return from Mumbai four years ago, Sunita was looking for a living space loaded with amenities and comforts and nearness to everyday life destinations. “I booked the apartment 3 years ago as I found the facilities offered were quite upmarket to make life easy and comfy. I am happy because the builder has fulfilled all his promises. Moreover, all the facilities such as swimming pool, jogging track, gym etc., are available under one roof and we don’t have to venture out of our premises. The school, place of worship, markets and malls are within a short distance” Sunita avers.
One of the highlights of the apartment is its 22,000 sq ft massive club house with a variety of health and fitness facilities, full-fledged gym, independent Jacuzzi, sauna, spa, steam, indoor and outdoor sports etc., jogging track, swimming pool, yoga and meditation room etc., the largest and first of its kind in the city of Mangalore. As President of the adhoc Maurishka residents’ committee Poornima Katapady Salian, a self employed professional puts it “For me this project is like a small city with a big package because the facilities provided are those people usually aspire for in bigger metros”. She further adds: “Getting such a beautiful home in the hub of the city with amazing utilities is really worth the value of money invested. I am really impressed with the quality of the project and the professional approach of the builder. I am a delighted customer of Maurishka”. Such praise from someone like Poornima who has seen life in bigger cities like Chennai says much about the kind of comforts and cosy life residents of Maurishka are offered.
Similar views are echoed by Denis Rodrigues, retired General Manager of Canara Bank who is all set to move into his home next month. With his home getting ready he has been a regular at Maurishka and has been quite impressed with his dream home. He pointed out “This destination is like my dream home. I feel safe and comfortable because once I step inside I don’t have to fear about anything. I am really impressed with the builder because apart from providing what is promised he has given additional amenities which were a real surprise. The builder is quite open to ideas and I have not seen a builder who is so accommodative”.
That the residents of Maurishka Palace are enjoying a wide features and facilities to add comforts to everyday living is evident from the fact that the project has been conferred with an enhanced rating of Mangalore 6 stars from CRISIL Real estate last week. This enhanced rating from 5 Star to 6 stars has been given following the audit done after the completion of the project. CRISIL Real Estate Star Ratings provides city specific all round assessment of real estate projects and help buyers benchmark and identify quality projects with a highest rating of 7 stars. The six star rating given to Maurishka Palace is a testimony to the quality, construction, innovation employed and financial strength of the developers.
Luxury of Lung Space
Maurishka Palace was conceived by Srinath Hebbar with the intent of meeting the growing demands for global standard housing options to the people of Mangalore. The project was designed by Peter and Paul Mascarenhas of Archi Techniques with impressive and eye catching facade loaded with features spread over two blocks. Spread over 2.77 acres of prime and picturesque land the structure occupies just 30% of the land leaving 70% of open space. This ‘luxury of space’ has been one of the highlights of the project and many residents are quite delighted with the ample space they are able to enjoy. Shamila Kunder says “I am happy I took the right decision in opting for an apartment here. This place has become Mangalore’s landmark and the facilities provided help us to live our dreams”. Shamila’s family took an impromptu decision to buy the flat at Maurishka when Shrinath Hebbar had visited Abu Dhabi even without seeing the location of the project. “When Hebbar visited I was working in Abu Dhabi and when I listened to the features and amenities from him I did not hesitate to book the apartment”. Shamila has moved into her new abode in July 2015 she has been captivated by its irresistible charm.
Vanitha Anilkumar who moved in to the city and to her new home with the family from Surathkal is in all praise for the builder and the staff and for the cordiality with which they respond to the residents. For Vanitha the feedback from her sister a resident of Land Trades project ‘Astoria’ proved to be crucial. “I booked the apartment during the laying of the foundation stone because I was convinced that I will not get a better place than this. After living here for a year I feel I am blessed and I have no regrets”, she declares.
The husband wife team of Chandraveni And Bharath Shetty are thanking their stars for finding their perfect home in Maurishka Palace. Bharat Shetty who had a shop in Gurupur Kaikamba took the vital decision to close his shop and move in to this apartment in the city. For those who believe that apartments provide a congested or restricted kind of feeling especially for those who are used to living in independent homes the Shettys is a living example. The couple are in awe of their apartment and cherish every moment and facility provided here. Chandraveni states that they moved to the city because they feel that being senior citizens it is convenient to be living in city where health facilities are available at close vicinity. Bharath Shetty is also quite delighted with the builder and his professional approach. Bharath Shetty pointed out “We have been given all support by the builder and his staff while furnishing our apartment. The facilities are wonderful and the after-sale service provided by the builder is excellent. Despite water crisis facing Mangalore city, the residents of Maurishka never felt the problem of water shortage”.
It goes to the credit of Land Trades that it completed an enormous project like Maurisha Palace within a short period of 40 months. While the residents have no complaints about the facilities, comforts and luxuries they feel that whatever concerns and apprehensions they have are being addressed to. For example since the final completion work is still going on Sunita Furtado says she was a bit apprehensive with regard to the safety due to the presence of a large number of workers inside the premises. But her concerns were addressed to and Sunita says she is happy with the swift response. That the builder is open to ideas has been another important aspect which has added to the joy of the residents of Maurishka. Poornima says “we want to make it into a green corridor and the builder has assured us all support in this endeavour”.
For builder Srinath Hebbar it is really a matter of great satisfaction and pride to see his well crafted project symbolic to the contemporary life with world class amenities emerging as Mangalore’s foremost attraction. To mark the first anniversary in a befitting way he has financed the weeklong celebration activities culminating in a mega event on 29th May. After all, a satisfied and contented customer is an asset to any builder. Srinath Hebbar says he is proud of his project in its final shape which he terms the entire process “as a learning experience”. Hebbar also says he is grateful to the residents for their immense loyalty and trust in him. “Though there were hiccups and a few shortcomings the residents were very polite, cooperative and they never bad mouthed. The residents had immense faith and confidence in me and I am happy I have been able to vindicate that trust” says a visibly happy Hebbar.
As for the residents of Maurishka Palace it is time to reap what they sow in terms of true value for the money. As a reward they get to enjoy and bask in the lavish and precinct environs of their home which is a sanctuary of privacy, serenity, peace, comfort and unmatched opulence. It is like a dream fulfilled... a reality unfurled.
