Mangalore, Nov 24: Weltha’s/Furtado’s outlet was inaugurated on Saturday November 24 at 11 am at Willy's Centre, Balmatta, Mangalore.



Oscar Weltha welcomed the gathering at the beginning. This was followed by the prayer lead by Immanuel Bhaskar, chief warden, KACES Hostel.

Fr Fred Pereira, Director St. Anotny's Home, Mangalore inaugurated the shop by cutting the ribbon. Lighting of lamp was done by Oscar and Sunathra, Ross Weltha, Antony Gomes, Joseph Gomes and Philip Rodrigues.



S D Aiman, associate presbyter, Shanthi Cathedral blessed the shop.

Retired bishop C L Furtado of CSI Karnataka Southern Diocese spoke on the occasion.

Antony Gomes greeted all the guests.Fr Denis D’sa, administrator, Fr Muller Medical College and Hospital raised the toast. Sunathra Weltha proposed the vote of thanks and Neil D’Souza compered the programme.

    I had been to the inauguration.  It was great to have a shoppe like this in Mangalore .Hats off to Oscar Weltha & the Mumbai Gomes collaboration .May the music continue......

    We wish all the best to welthas/furtados outlet. May i know the price range of manual pianos {yamaha brand}, so that i can the idea of carting one from the gulf

    I had been to the inaguration yesterday and it was something great to have such a shop in Mangalore. Three cheers to your team for covering this rare event in the history of music too.
