Mangaluru, Aug 17: Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajarang Dal activists demanded ban on Amnesty International for anti-India and ‘Azadi’ slogans raised at its premises recently in United Theological College, Bengaluru and condemned the incident in a protest near DC office here on Wednesday August 17.

Addressing the protest, MB Puranik VHP Provisional State Working president said, “Though the FIR has been filed against the accused, state government has failed to arrest them. This incident is a ‘sponsored drama’ by the state government. Take action against those who raised anti-national slogans and ban Amnesty International India. There is a strategy against the nationalists. Those professors who need to teach their students on patriotism are supporting consumption of beef.”

VHP leader Krishnamurthy said, “Chief minister and home minister have no courage to raise voice against anti-nationals. If the government continues the anti-Hindu policies, we will hold protest in all villages of state. This year, we will not allow the government to observe Tippu Jayanti. Hindu organizations will never allow this,” he said.

Sharan Pumpwell leader of Bajarang Dal speaking on this occasion said, “Islamic sponsored terrorists killed several people in France by ramming a truck in a crowed place which shook the world. But we as Hindu organizations have been talking about it from last 40 years. Amnesty International India is a unauthorized NGO. Crores of rupees come to the organization from foreign countries. We should understand their divisive strategies and ban them.”
