Dubai: Kannada, Tulu, Konkani Songs on Radio Spice 105.4 FM

Daijiworld Media Network - Dubai

Dubai, Jan 17: Radio is one of the most easily accesible and popular medium in the UAE and Radio Spice 105.4 FM is the latest sensation among the music lovers all around UAE. Though there are already four Hindi FM radio channels in UAE, the entry of 105.4 FM intends to bring uniqueness and quality content to the listeners.

For the first time in the UAE, a radio FM is bringing weekly regional language programmes to the listeners, much to the delight of the people of coastal region who will get to listen to their favourite Kannada, Tulu and Konkani music.

'Filter Coffee' from 7 am to 12 noon every Friday will bring regional songs and apart from Kannada, Tulu and Konkani the programme will also feature Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam songs.

The promoter of the radio channel Herman Lewis, who has plenty of experience in setting up radio stations in the Middle East, Africa and other parts of Asia hails from Mangalore. His love for his mother tongue Konkani and other coastal languages led him to include regional songs in the programme. 'Demand for such songs will create more space in the near future' he said when contacted by Daijiworld.com.

'Early risers hailing from Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka will get piping hot movie gossip, listen to their favorite celebs exclusively on Radio Spice and also get a special recipe from the region every Friday. Listeners will also be treated to a unique mix of the best of Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Konkani, Tulu and Sinhalese songs.'

'105.4 FM Radio Spice, the frequency that SPICES up the UAE airwaves, is V3 media's premier offering. We cater to the varying musical tastes of the South Asian community, broadcasting mainly in Hindi and English.  Radio Spice will be a formatted station, weaving together a vibrant tapestry of entertainment and information while giving top priority to our advertiser's interests.' he said.

Besides playing top hits, the radio will also walk hand in hand with our listeners all the way. Our slogan 'Aapke saath-saath' appropriately reflects our core philosophy. The radio station's strategies are devised keeping the listeners in mind.

'We would measure our success only by the number of smiles the mention of RADIO SPICE generates.'

I am enjoying your channel and its presenters are very refreshing, in particular Hawa Hawai who is simply amazing. Her voice has sophistication and her presentation style is very sweet, subtle and not at all intimidating unlike RJ's of other channels. only today I came to know about kannada and I look forward to listening to some melodius tunes. I wish the very best to the Channel.
