New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the International Gita Mahotsav on Tuesday at Kurukhetra in Haryana, his office said on Monday.
The Gita Mahotsav or Bhagawad Gita Jayanti Samaroh is celebrated every year in Kurukshetra -- the venue of the Mahabharat battle -- to commemorate the birth of the Hindu epic.
The festival, which lasts a week, will see a crafts fair, readings of the text, discussions by eminent scholars and more.
