Dubai: Enchanting 'Goenchi Guirestkai' has Audience Asking for More

Dubai, Feb1: To commemarate 25 years in the field of acting of Socorro de Santacruz the premier show of the musical night was held in Al Nasr Leisureland Nashwan Hall in Dubai on January 31 at 9.30 pm.

The main organizers of the event were Remy Fernandes who has been organizing these types of shows for the past 3 years and Rosario Fernandes who has been organizing dramas for the past 20 years.

There is a beneficiary to help the needy in our hometown in every event said Remy and added that there has been always a good support from the Goans in Dubai in continuing this trend. 'I always get a helping hand from Ivo Morais who has never said no to me in all my events owing to which I get lot of confidence,' he said.

The musical nite was played by  a 5-piece band headed by Ramiro from Dubai and the singers were the two daughters of Socooro Kala Acemedy Award winners Priyanka and Sonia and also Lorry Travaso (The Melody King of Goan stage shows) Tony De Ribandar, Kenny’s Solo in lady’s style, mimicry by Xec Amir and comedy by Sally.

Songs like Goenchi Gierstakai, Dubai, Chedvam, Kullio, Bharat Amcho Des, Timepass, Ami Goemkar, Maria Conceisao, Niz Goemkar were sung by  Socoro, Sonia, Priya, Kenny, Cyril, Lawry, Priyanka, Sanio, Raj and Tony.

Sheikh Amir who did mimcry of the diffirent artist was fabulous.
