Bantwal: Lawyers, judges must ensure justice to common man- Judge Siriyak

Bantwal, Feb 24: Lawyers and judges should do their best to render justice to even the common man, at the earliest and in the easiest possible way, advised justice Siriyak Joseph, chief justice of Karnataka High court.
 
He was speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Bantwal court and the inauguration of a newly constructed building of the Bar Association.













Further according to him people in the rural areas are finding it difficult to deal with the legal matters. Therefore, its the duty of lawyers and judges to assure and ensure that justice is done even to the last man in the society, he urged passionately.
 
Justice N Anand, judge of the Karnataka High Court, presided over the function. Justice Abdul Nazeer, another judge of the Karnataka High Court and Union Minister Oscar Fernandes were the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Ashwanikumar Rai, president of Bantwal Bar Association, delivered the introductory address. V C Hatti welcomed the gathering, while in clonclusion K V Bhat proposed the vote of thanks.
 
The Bar Association building was constructed at a cost of Rs 30 lac, while the court building will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore.
