Mangalore, Mar 13: The fate of Asia depends on the developments of India and this country has a precious asset; that is younger generation. But the younger generation should not neglect education, said H E Hynek Kmonicek, Czech Republic ambassador to India.






























Speaking at the graduation ceremony of Fr Muller Institute of Health Sciences, held on Thursday March 13, he said that one third of world's population lives in Asia. Therefore, what is happening in Asia is important to others also, he informed.
 
Health care may be thriving industry today, which can never replace humanity to patients. Everyone should remember the motto of the institution 'heal and comfort,' he advised.
 
Dr Vasantkumar S, registrar of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), he said that Indians in general are regarded as not to have due respect to 'time'. One should keep in mind that the time is non-renewable asset and therefore, all should respect time, he called upon.
 
The position of the medical students will bring them dignity. At the same time, it adds responsibility on their shoulder, he opined.
 
Altogether 471 students who completed postgraduate, graduate degrees and diplomas in various medical and paramedical disciplines were awarded with degrees and certificates on this occasion. Sr Flora D'Souza, Sr Jacintha D'Souza, Dr S K Tivari and Dr Sanjeev Rai officiated oath taking ceremony.
 
Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, bishop of Mangalore, presided over the function. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director of Fr Muller Charitable Institutions, welcomed the gathering. Fr Denis D'Sa, administrator of Fr Muller Medical College, proposed vote of thanks.
