Devotees Perform Sri Satyanarayana Puja in Dubai

Dubai, Mar 15: Sri Satyanarayana Puja Seva Samiti UAE organized the Sri Satyanarayana Puja at Karama Center Hall, Dubai on March 14, 2008, for seeking the blessing of Lord Narayana for the betterment of all.

Lot was taken to select a couple to perform among 175 couples who registered for the puja.  Mrs & Mr Rajesh Pai was blessed one performed the rituals of the puja.

There were around 650 devotees from all over UAE attended the pooja to seek the divine blessing. The contribution from the puja will be given to Saanidhya, Residential School & Training centre for Mentally-challenged Persons in Mangalore

The puja started at 10 am with Bhajans sung by the local devotees on the occasion and the Maha Arati was performed at 1:30 pm followed by distribution of Prasadam and lunch.

The puja was performed by Bhujanga Bhat and the initiative to have this puja was taken by Harish Kamath Vithal and his friends.

    It was a well organized pooja and performed as per shastra by Bhujan bhatt. I would like to thank the whole team for their effort inspite of the busy schedule life we have here for arranging such a beautiful pooja and hope we have such once a year.
