Moodubidri: 'Someacho Paxanv' Religious Play Attracts Scores at Alangar

Moodbidri March 16 : For Christians all over the world , the Holy week begins with the Celebration of Palm Sunday.. It was no exception to the parishioners of the Holy Rosary Church ,  Alangar ,Moodbidri..

" Someacho Paxanv "- ( The Lords passion)  was depicted by nearly 100 actors belonging to the Alangar Church .
The play drew more than 3000 people  from all over the diocese. This play beautifully narrated the passion , crucifixition, and death of Jesus.  “ Open your hearts to the Lord and change your lives” was the message of the Passion play.  So touching was the play, people were spotted shedding tears. Directed by  Fredrick D'souza Mudarangady , the play was organized by the Divine Mercy Charasmatic group. Music was directed by Herald Tauro













































 

Earlier, Rev. Fr Vincent D'souza Parish Priest of Alangar church welcomed all the guests.   Among the dignateries were Rev Msgr Denis Prabhu ,Vicar General of the diocese, Stephen Mendes ,propritor of V4 and ADLA channel .

Edward Serrao read the Donors List . Sylvester Rego ,President of Devine Mercy Charasmatic Group proposed the vote of thanks.  P.K. Thomas compered the programme.
