Mangalore: BA Moideen Bava to be Conferred Sadhana Award

Mangalore, Mar 19: The prestigious ‘Sadhana Award’ will be conferred on various personalities for their significant contributions in their chosen field during Sneha Samarpanam 2008 to be held at Kumbla on Sunday March 23.

BA Moideen Bava, entrepreneur and president of Dakshina Kannada Congress minority cell, I Rama Rai, senior leader, Golden Abdul Khadar, president of Manjeshawara block panchayat and KM Abbas, journalist will be the recipients, Harshad Vorkady, programme convener, announced here at a press conference.

M Veerappa Moily, chairman of the Administrative Reforms Commission will confer the awards on the awardees on March 23, he added while informing that the ceremony will be graced by political leaders and film actors.

The award has been instituted by Dubai Green Star Manjeshwar Mandalam Committee in memory of the late SA Khadar, Vorkady informed. 

Other members of the organizing committee were present at the press conference.
