Canada, Mar 28: Much awaited by Mangaloreans in Canada CANARA KALA SANZ is fast approaching. The show is fully sold out and the overwhelming response by the Canadian Mangaloreans shows the success of the cultural events organised in the past. The cultural events organised by Max Mendes group provides great entertainment and also rekindles a keen interest and respect for the Konkani language among the North American Mangaloreans.
This year the concept of cultural show has gained momentum not only with the participation of the local Mangaloreans in Canada but also for the star attraction of Claude D’Souza.
Karnataka Sahitya Award Winner Claud D’souza set foot for the first time on March 25th 2008 for his maiden performance in Canada. Earlier in the week a warm welcome was accorded to Claud D’Souza by the Organisers at the Lester Pearson Intl.Airport, Toronto.
Omar Alghabra Member of Parliament, Mississauga Erindale will be the guest of honour at this function.
This memorable event will be held on March 30th 2008 at 4:30 pm sharp, at Christ the King church hall, 3495 Confederation Parkway, Mississauga. The gates will be open at 3.45 pm.
