Dubai: Dhyan Biddappa Bags H H Sheikh Maktoum Award

Dubai, Mar 29: Dhyan Sean Biddappa was awarded the prestigious H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Cambridge award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the University of Cambridge International AS Level examinations recently.
He is the son of Marisa Lobo and Ajit Biddappa, Dubai, UAE and grandson of the late Lula Lobo (nee Nazareth) and S P Lobo (Bunnu), Mangalore and Konganda Dotty and the late G Biddappa, Coorg.
Dhyan has been topping his class since his Kindergarten. He also topped his University of Cambridge IGCSE examinations with 7A* and 2 A’s in June 2006.
His unassuming but inherently confident personality has made him very popular with his peers and teachers, culminating in his being elected as the current Head Boy of Dubai Gem Pvt. School.
Dhyan is an avid lover of reading and this has helped him win prizes in quizzes and story writing competitions. He is also a black belt in Karate and enjoys playing tennis.
