Bangalore: Minisha Lamba Brings Smile to Underprivilege Kids of Fame

Bangalore, Apr 3: Purple Ribbon, the social cause initiative from FAME India Pvt, in collaboration with UTV, hosted a fun-filled afternoon on Tuesday April 1 for the underprivileged children of LoveDale foundation, an NGO dedicated to empower the education of underprivileged children in India.
The highlight of the afternoon included an interactive session between the children and Minnisha Lamba and Samar Khan (director of the movie Shaurya). Minnisha Lamba distributed signed audio CDs of Shaurya on the occasion. The kids also got to watch a movie of their choice together with free pepsi/popcorn, courtesy Fame.
Speaking on the occasion, Abhishek Raina, marketing head, Fame India Limited, said, 'We are grateful to Minnisha Lamba and Samar Khan for taking the initiative for hosting this event with Fame Lido. We started Purple Ribbon with the sole intention to bring the magic of cinema into the lives of the underprivileged. We hope to make a little difference in their lives and create memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.'
Purple Ribbon, the social cause initiative of Fame India Ltd, is conducted in collaboration with various NGOs throughout the year. Purple Ribbon addresses social issues by organizing special movie screenings, opportunities to ‘meet and greet’ the stars, raising funds for charity through special premiers and much more.
