Four Afghan civilians killed in blast


Kabul, Jun 16 (IANS): Four Afghan civilians were killed after their vehicle hit an improvised explosive device (IED) in Laghman province on Friday morning.

"The incident occurred in Alingar district. The victims were local labourers travelling to a construction site," Xinhua news agency quoted an official statement as saying.

Earlier on Friday, the Interior Ministry revised the death toll to four from a terrorist attack at a Shia mosque in Kabul.

One policeman and three civilians were killed when two suicide bombers struck Al-Zahra Mosque on Thursday night.
