Al Ain : Buraimi Kannada Sangha Celebrates 5th Anniversary

Al Ain, May 4: 5th Anniversary of Kannada Sangha of Al Ain Al Buraimi was organized with colourful and vibrant cultural events at the Hotel Intercontinental Hotel on Friday 2nd May 2008 .
Grand Patron & CEO & MD of nmc group Dr.B.R.Shetty and Dr.J.R.Gangaramani were the chief guests who were accompanied by Special Guests Dr.Chandra BR Shetty and Mrs.Shalini Gangaramani.
President & Past President of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah; Prabhakar Ambalthere & Ganesh Rai along with the President of Mogaveera Sangha Dubai Lokesh Putran were the Guests of honour and were felicitated.
As a part of the Anniversary celebrations the achievers were felicitated and on this occasion. Ameena ( Best Teacher), Kavya Joshi (Best Student) were felicitated by Badrinath & Dr.Kumar on behalf of the Sangha.
Sangha has been implementing innovative programmes this year and Book distribution is one among them and was inaugurated by the Chief Guests on this auspicious day.
One of the missions of the Sangha is to help its members in distress and in accordance with that the Sangha rendered financial support for families of Koragappa Naik (Bypass Surgery) and Purshotama (Accident). As a mark of recognition and to motivate the younger generation awards were given to Shodhana Nayak (CBSE Topper) & Sachin Nayak (Shuttle Badminton).
The sponsors and the Chief Guests were also felicitated by the organising committee.
The entertainments were very classic and full of variety and colurful -
Aa Aa E E - Children dance, Traditional Dance (Deepa Nritya), Belli Muditho Koli Kugitho(Sahas Shetty)jaathre ke hogonabaa(Sahil & Anushita,)and Baare Baare(Tanvi & Simran) entertained the audience.
The quiz about Karnataka added attraction so was Male folk dance which was the pick of the day.
Oraganising committee comprising of K.B.RAMESH,SHANKAR KOTIAN, SUJAYA KOTIAN,JAGANNATH,FEROZ KHAN, MAHESH G AND SVB KISHORE and the volunteers organized the events and programmes in a very professional way and received kudos from the large Kannadaiga croud.
Feroz Khan and Savitha Nayak were the Masters of ceremony.
