Abu Dhabi: Well-known Compere Suchitha Moras (37) passes Away

The embalming (blessing) of the body of Suchita Moras will be on Wednesday May 14 at 5 pm at Preventive Medicine Department (behind Central Hospital), Abu Dhabi.
The Mass scheduled for 8 pm at St Joseph's Church has been cancelled. The body will be flown to Mangalore.
Funeral cortege leaves Moras residence, Shivbhag for St Sebastian Church, Bendore, at 3 pm on Thursday May 15, 2008 followed by Mass at 3.15 pm.

Abu Dhabi, May 13: The UAE was woken up May 13th morning with the shocking news of the passing away of Suchitha Moras in Abu Dhabi , known as a dynamic young compere and community oriented person . She passed away during the early hours of Tuesday in Abu Dhabi due to a massive cardiac arrest.
The sudden passing away of 37-year-old Suchitha , always known to the Indian expat community here in the UAE as a lively, smiling person has not only shocked her family but entire Indian community.
Suchitha was a well known face during all major Indian community programmes conducted in the UAE. Her smooth and mild , but powerful voice, made her one of the most popular female comperes here in the Gulf.
Family sources told Daijiworld.com that Suchitha was healthy and showed no signs of any discomfort. She had a normal evening with her family , had supper , watched television and went off to bed. At around 11.00 pm her husband Anoop felt a tight clench from Suchitha. Sensing something unusual, he immediately got up to find Suchitha unconscious and not responding to their call. The family immediately rushed her to the hospital but Suchitha never recovered. She breathed her last during the early hours of the morning.
Suchitha leaves behind her husband Anoop and her two children Alaric and Alcuin and scores of her adoring fans.
