Mangalore, May 21: Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust, which is running several prestigious educational institutions in Mangalore, held discussions with Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), UK, which was represented by Kate Crafton, on May 20.
The Trust contemplates to enter into a collaboration with the said university for some of it's academic programmes.
Prof Hima Urmila Shetty made a detailed presentation on various programmes pursued by the Trust colleges currently, on the occasion.
Dr M Ramgopal Shetty, Trust secretary, highlighted the areas in which the Trust colleges and SHU can have a mutually beneficial collaboration.
Exchange visits by students and faculty members of the two organizations were also mooted.
