Dubai: Dr B K Yusuf Elected President of Bearys Cultural Forum

Dubai, Jun 9: `Beary’ is a Muslim ethnic group originated from the coastal parts of the state of Karnataka in India. Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF) was formed in the United Arab Emirates under the auspices of Dubai Indian Islamic Centre, UAE.  BCF’s main objective is to promote, educate and create social, cultural and educational awareness amongst the Bearys in the UAE & India.

The BCF conducts regularly cultural, sports, talent search, educational activities, Iftar Party, etc. every year.  Last year, BCF provided scholarship to around 600 students for pursuing their higher education in the field of medicines, engineering, nursing, management, pharmacy, Homeopathy etc.

During the 5th Annual General Meeting was conducted at the President Hotel Ball Room in Dubai.  The under-mentioned Central Executive Committee members were elected:
