As we all know that the accident rates are high in South Kanara, despite the improved highways.
The reason is that there is NO fearness in drivers. If you apply strict penalty, such as driving licence cancellation, blood money for the deceased and even the strict court sentences to be implemented.
Mainly the pure negligence of the drivers are causing the accidents.

In general the Traffic Police Force should be increased to monitor the highways.

sleeping traffic department and politician never bothered the death of innocent people. simply making drama in front of poor people who is responsible for these death , once again I say only India only it happen heavy vehicle killing innocent people. where is all organization at least they can protest in front of DC to give security for our life by accidents and other epidemic diseases. I don't think why our active incharge Pramod Madhwaraj also silent about these deaths.

Sand trucks and fish trucks causing more accident in twin district.Their only aim to reach the distinction with always with Gutka , madhu or even intoxication. Even there is a bus stop exactly opposite of SMS Church.Buses dropping the students by road instead of parking area. So police should register a case also on bus who is also responsible for death.
