Mangalore: Direct Flight to Kuwait Re-routed via Sharjah

Mangalore, Jul 4: The scheduled Mangalore-Muscat-Kuwait flight has been re-routed as Mangalore-Sharjah-Kuwait.
Air India Express officials while releasing this news to daijiworld.com said that arrival and departure dates from Mangalore and Kuwait will remain the same despite change in scheduled route.
By landing in Sharjah, Air India Express has connected Mangalore to another Middle East destination. With this development Mangalore is now internationally connected to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Air India's seat sharing issue between Muscat and India has been the prime reason for re-scheduling the flight, said AI officials.
However, online ticket booking is still facing some technical problems as system is currently not able to accept international credit cards. The issue will be sorted out soon.
Meanwhile first air ticket of maiden Kuwait-Mangalore direct flight has been presented to Pascal Pinto, UAKK public relation officer and Kuwait Konkan president signed by Bhar (Air India manager, Kuwait) in the presence of Tasneem Shabbir Dalal, Sales manager, Shraf Aydeed, Reservation Manager ,Raymond Arayo, Daisy and all the staff members of Air India in Kuwait.
