Mangalore: Save Cultural & Religious Places from MSEZ - 'Nilae' Photo Exhibition

Mangalore, Jul 13: Karavali Karnataka Janaabhivriddhi Vedike has organized 'Nilae,' an exhibition of photographs from the area earmarked for the Mangalore Special Economic Zone (MSEZ), including the places of Tuluva cultural and religious significance, on Sunday July 13 afternoon, at Corporation Bank Officers Organization (CBOO) auditorium, Kodialbail, here.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Sri Raghaveshvara Bharathi Swamiji of Ramachandrapur Math, Hosanagar. Dakshina Kannada (DK) district Kannada Sahitya Parishat former president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura was also present.
The setting up of MSEZ in the coastal district threatens several religious centers of Tulu Nadu to become history. The exhibition is an attempt to create awareness on the worship centers of the land.
