Mangalore: Popular Front of India Gets Permission for 'Freedom Parade'

Mangalore, Aug 14: District superintendent of police N Sateesh Kumar has informed that Popular Front of India organization has been permitted to conduct the 'Freedom Parade' it proposed to take out, in the city. The organization can take out the procession from the Karavali Utsav Ground to the adjoining Mangala Stadium without using the road, he said.
A release by Popular Front of India said that the parade will be initiated at 3 pm at Karavali utsav Ground and will converge at the Mangala Stadium later.
Popular Front vice-president K M Shariff will inspect the guard of honour, followed by public programmes. Karnataka Forum for Dignity state president Dr Mahboob Shariff Awad will preside, the release added.
