Mangaluru: YCS Animators hold annual diocesan meet

Mangaluru, Mar 12: The annual meet of the YCS Animators of the diocese was held on March 11 at Angelore parish hall, here.

Fr Mathew Vas parish priest of Angelore parish as well as spiritual director of Catholic Sabha Mangaluru and Fr Roque Dsa, professor of St Joseph Seminary were the chief guests. They inaugurated the event by handing over the official text books of YCS to Suraj Ashoknagar and Jasmine Lobo Agrar the representatives of the animators.

Jeswita Princy Quadras the national president of YCS, Fr Rupesh Madtha the diocesan director and Prajwal Sequeira Derebail the diocesan animator were on the dais.



Fr Vas delivered a message to the animators and Fr Dsa as resource person spoke on 'Animator - Student Relationship in YCS - A Psychological View Point'. There were queries from the animators on the subject.

Prajwal welcomed everyone and Anitha Frank Bendoor compered the programme. Jeswita presented mementos to the chief guests.

Fr Rupesh conducted the evaluation for the passing year and planning for the forthcoming year.

The volunteers Lavita Dsouza Permannur, Viola Dsouza Bondel, Merwin Pais Borimar conducted icebreakers.

The holy Mass was celebrated and the programme concluded with lunch.
