Dubai, Sep 29: St. Mary’s Konkan Community [SMKC] Dubai,  an esteemed Konkan organization of Dubai proudly announces its forthcoming mega charity evening show ‘DESERT STRINGS 2008’ at Al Rashidiya Ballroom, Al Bustan Rotana Hotel,  Dubai on Thursday 16th October 2008. 


This exclusive charity ‘Dine & Dance’ event,  now in its successive 2nd year will be a perfect opportunity for you to support all the charity purposes of SMKC and sets out to be a great evening for ideal networking and have fun with family and friends. Rest assured, like previous, this will be a great chance to witness SMKC’s impressive planning, creativity and innovation in organizing any successful event.

 


Marvelous band of Mumbai  ‘Flypside’ will be flown in specially for this occasion, to croon sensational and foot tapping numbers in Konkani,  Hindi and English to enthrall the audience of all ages.  


Our own eminent local Goan artists from ‘The Raphael Group’ will also perform rib-tickling comedy skits and mesmerizing mimicry to enhance the buoyant spirit of this gala evening.

    SMKC, I appreciate your efforts to bring good to the community. Happy to read about your successful arrrangement for programs - Sports Day, Monthi Fest etc. Last year I witnessed your show which was good, except limited dance arena, absence of Baila and few popular numbers were draw back. Hope this year you'll look into it and make a successful and grand show. Good Luck.
