Dubai: 'Waves of Love' to Perform Tulu Hits at Tulu Parba

Dubai, Nov 30: In what promises to be a non stop action of top tulu songs, Dubai’s most famous “Waves of Love” are all set to perform at the forthcoming Tulu Parba on December 5, 2008 (Friday) at the Al Nasr Leisureland.

Top composer and singer Vincent Fernandes Cascia is leading the musical troupe with suitable support from Gulf’s winning singer Dony Correa, Dubai’s popular lady singer Asha Correa and others.  The 6 piece orchestra is all geared up to perform in style at the tulu festival where all tulu lovers will be treated to a feast of tulu songs.  The music group has picked almost all the popular tulu hits apart from their own tulu numbers which they will be singing for the benefit of the public. Uttam Menezes wil compere the musical event.

Singer Vincent has big plans in the music world and has already made his mark in Konkani and Kannada  music having released 5 konkani albums.  His 6th and 7th albums are due for release in January 2009 for which recording is almost complete.

Say what you like, but if you are there on Friday, you are sure to bring back memories of tulunad with such beautiful music which can only come “Waves of Love”.

The group has also planned  a non stop tulu baila session which is expected to bring the crowd to the dance floor.

Apart from the musical entertainment, there are so many other attractions on the night where you can meet and greet all your friends from Mangalore and other nearby places and exchange tulu pleasantries.  A grand tableau, games stalls and other entertainment are all part and parcel of “Tulu Parba” apart from the smashing music.  Coconut breaking, Mangalore’s famous ‘mallige’ flowers, Good Angadi and much more will be in evidence at the fiesta. 

This apart, Raymond D’Souza of  “Mr. World” fame is being specially flown in by Tulu Koota as a special guest for the occasion.  Raymond D’Souza has won several awards for India with his beautiful body at various international meets.

Tulu Koota President, C.R. Shetty is ensuring that the tulu loving people have a great day at the “Tulu Parba” which is one of the most popular events in Dubai. C. R. Shetty who won the Indira Priyadarshini Award recently in New Delhi is the driving force behind the “Tulu Parba” and is assisted by numerous well wishers as everyone strives to bring the cultural heritage of tulunad to the forefront Dubai.
