Dubai, Dec 5: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) dedicated the 37th National Day of the United Arab Emirates (U A E) for a noble cause by organizing a "Health Awareness Camp" on December 2.
EIFF conducted free health checkup camps for low-paid workers and labourers in three different states of U A E (Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Sharjah) and was organized in accordance with major clinics to visit few labour camps and conduct check ups for the laborers.
Medical camps were held in the following labour camps:
1) Abu Dhabi - White Aluminum Company, Medical Checkup done by Home Health Medical Center.
2) Dubai -Bin Lahej Aluminum Company, Medical Checkup done by Dr. Mohammed Zafuraulla Khan from Nandha Medical Center.
3) Sharjah - Al Nirm Construction Company, Medical Checkup done by Al Shams Medical Center.
More than 250 low paid workers from different nationalities, namely Egyptians, Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis, Algerians, Pakistanis and Indians had attended this camp and availed the benefits of blood screening, blood pressure, cholesterol and general checkups. There were specialists like ENT, Skin and Orthopedic doctors who were part of this successful campaign. The laborers were given refreshments after the checkup was done.
EMIRATES INDIA FRATERNITY FORUM (EIFF) office bearers and members thanked the doctors, medical clinics, in-charge managers of the labour camps, workers and the volunteers for making this event a successful one.
