JD-U has nothing to do with Ram temple, triple talaq: Nitish

Patna, Jan 7 (IANS): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that his Janata Dal-United (JD-U) had nothing to do with controversial issues such as building a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya and triple talaq.

"Our stand on these controversial issues is old. There is no change in our stand. We have nothing to do with such issues," the JD-U President told the media here after holding his first Lok Sambad in 2019.

He said his party desired that both issues should be resolved peacefully and by consensus.

Earlier, senior JD-U leader K.C. Tayagi said Ram temple and triple talaq were not the agenda of his party.

Nitish Kumar stressed that the country can be run only by constitutions.

In reply to a question, Nitish Kumar said the Rafale fighter jet deal was not an issue as the Supreme Court had given a clean chit to the central government.

And Nitish Kumar said Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister again after the Lok Sabha polls.

The JDU and Nitesh must have realised that these issues are just Jhumla for the BJP and so are distancing themselves from the BJP.

    Sikulars need not get excited.
Nitish says he has no opinion on this.
Remember he is still with the NDA. Seat sharing deal is already done with the BJP.
Whereas in UP, Congress may NOT get more than two seats from the SP-BSP Alliance.

Only BJP is having these issues which are not interested by common man. they need job, peace, harmony, improvement etc. Only bjp is busy in Triple Talaq and Ram Mandir only to divide the community and get political benefit.

Do you think bjp is so much interested in helping muslim women. Never ever dream it.

Bjp is running as per Sangh parivar manifesto and according to sangh parivar manifesto, India should be clean from Muslims, Christians and other religions by the year 2025.

They are shedding crorodile tears in the name of helping muslim women is just a drama to cheat them and divide the community. Triple talaq bill drafted by bjkp is 100 percent against the welfare of muslim women and that is why they are forcing pariament to pass it. bjp will never ever work for the benefit of muslim women. I appreciate Nitish Kumar for keeping away from these unnecessary issues. It will be better if he keeps away from communalist and anti social bjp.
