Mangaluru, Jan 19: St Aloysius College (autonomous) here, keeping with the long-established traditions will observe Constitution Week in the college January 21 to 25.
As part of the observation it has organised several programmes for the students.
Competitions such as clay modelling, pick and speak, creative art, essay and quiz will be held during the week. Unique events like, 'Reading of the Constitution' by
Justice H N Nagmohandas, mock parliament, a workshop on the constitution and a district level quiz are also planned during the week.
As the prime programme, the college also has organised a public lecture titled ‘Achievements of the Republic of India and Challenges Ahead’ by the eminent jurist
Justice H N Nagmohandas on January 22 at 3.00 pm for the public of Mangaluru at the LCRI auditorium in the campus.
The organisers invite the public to attend the programme and take part in the interaction which follows.
Justice H N Nagmohandas was a former judge of Karnataka High Court, who presently leads 'Reading the Constitution Movement in Karnataka'.
