Mangaluru, Sep 7: "A teacher's job is not a job like other professions. It demands sacrifice and utmost dedication. It is a noble work of shaping the life of students," said Fr Cyril D'Mello, director of St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute.
He addressed the teachers and students of the institution on September 7 during the Teachers' Day celebration. Continuing his speech he said, "I am very grateful to our teachers who have done exemplary work in forming the future of the students. Because of their sacrifice and dedication, thousands of students have seen light in their lives. Their expertise and hardwork has been the backbone of the institution. On this Teachers' Day I thank them on behalf of the management and students."
Students had organised the whole programme in honour of their beloved teachers.
The auditorium was decorated for the occasion and donned a festive look. In the beginning of the programme, entertaining games were conducted for the faculty members. As the staff members were actively participating in the games, students' joy knew no bounds and they kept cheering their favourite teachers.

Denson of Electronics Mechanic Trade extended a cordial welcome to all.
Mallayya of Electronics Mechanic Trade proposed the vote of thanks.
A cultural programme was also presented by the students.
Vishwas of Welder Trade compeered the programme.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
