All the folks from Mangalore /Middle east have absolutely no idea of "Halloween". They know so because, they read somewhere but have no experience in real life

Same as "Madri-Gras" which is before the start of Lenten season, Halloween is day before All saints/All soul's day.

School going kids, usually go trick or treating to collect CANDY . It is a fun time for children to wear costumes . Just like DASARA VESHA in Mangalore where they wear costumes to collecting MONEY!.

So to make my point to people who have never witnessed the same but read in books, GROW UP and do not show your ignorance.

In other words, to people who have posted their ignoramus comments ,,like Mr Dsouza, the thought here is better than the present thoughts whereby, you go to church on Sunday morning's thinking what you are going to cook and eat for lunch that afternoon rather than concentrate on your prayers!

Let us be the set apart people He has called us to be. Walk in His Holy ways. It’s a holiday where while people celebrate this day, the satanists are sacrificing little children . Let us pray for these victims instead.

Halloween costumes, candy, and trick or treat: According to the book Halloween—An American Holiday, An American History, some of the Celts wore ghoulish costumes so that wandering spirits would mistake them for one of their own and leave them alone. Others offered sweets to the spirits to appease them. In medieval Europe, the Catholic clergy adopted local pagan customs and had their adherents go from house to house wearing costumes and requesting small gifts.
The Bible, on the other hand, does not permit merging false religious practices with the worship of God.
    -Deuteronomy 18:10-12
    —2 Corinthians 6:17.

    Dear Friends,

Halloween is not accepted by Christ. Bible condemns the celebration of Halloween. Why then, is it celebrated one night of the year?

    Grow up. Behave maturely.

Dear DSouza, Even our Monthi Feast is a pagan festival where the first crop is blessed. The Noven that you so devotionally receive is a hindu tradition. So GROW UP.

What do you mean by Hindu Tradition ?. You should follow every Hindu tradition as you are an Indian and Hindu is a geological context and not religious. Belief system may vary but your 'indianness' will not go away.
