Mangaluru, Nov 26: Dakshina Kannada district administration filed an interim report over the situation arising out of dispute between the convener of Kateel Melas and its leading Bhagwath, Patla Sathish Shetty. The district administration sent this report on Monday, November 25.

District in-charge and muzrai minister Kota Srinivas Poojary had asked district deputy commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh on Sunday to send a detailed report on the situation. The deputy commissioner had asked the assistant commissioner in muzrai department to provide the report. The assistant commissioner sent the interim report within a day, and it was forwarded to the government after verification.

In the report, the statements obtained from artiste Patla Sathish Shetty, and Yajamana of the Melas, Kalladi Deviprasad Shetty, were sent. While Patla has claimed that he was sent away from the state without citing any reason or information, Kalladi said that Patla had gone up the stage even after a decision to drop him was taken. This information was provided by additional deputy commissioner Roopa M J.

The additional deputy commissioner also said that a week's time has been sought to send a detailed report and once all the information is pooled, the report will be sent.

there are so many issues public face of bad roads, no administration etc DC should concentrate on these things rather than this nonsense issues of some mela.

Really sickening that people, in the quest of satisfying their egos is putting the administration into works which are not essential.

You may feel "mela" is nonsense because you have no sense so all looks non sense to you. Better you not enter in this Mela difference as you don't know anything about Kateel Temple
