Mangalore: Louis J Pinto Re-elected President of `Mandd Sobhann'

Mangalore, Sep 12:  The newly elected executive committee of Mandd Sobhann has re-elected Louis J Pinto as the president of Mandd Sobhann for the year 2009-10.

The other office bearers elected on the occasion are, vice-president - Matilda Pinto, secretary - Rony Crasta, joint secretary - Naveen Lobo, treasurer - Ronald Gomes, Coordinator - Stany Alvares, public relations officer - Arun Raj and Gurkar - Eric Ozario.

The executive committee members of Mandd Sobhann are Lawrence Pinto, Narayan Kharvi, Kingsley Nazareth, Kishore Fernandes, Alfred Benis, Ronald Castelino, Ronald Mendonca and Fr Ramesh Francis Naik.

`Mandd Sobhann' works for preserving, promoting, propagating and enriching Konkani language & culture, thereby transmitting the unique Konkani Heritage to future generations.
