Dubai, Dec 9: Goan singer Remo Fernandes, who created waves on an international level through his singing, composing, and presentation skills, is once again coming to Dubai with a dual purpose.
First, he will launch ‘IndiGoa’ an ambitious ethnic Goan restaurant at Karama Hotel, under the Karama Hotel Management, and this will be followed by the ‘Remo Live in Concert’ (Remo and the Microwave Papadums) for a very limited crowd at ‘Tantra’, another newly-opened outlet at Karama Hotel on Friday December 18.
Speaking to Daijiworld.com, Francis Lobo, general manager of Karama Hotel, said that Remo is visiting Dubai exclusively for launching the restaurant and entertaining the crowd with Konkani, Hindi, and other popular numbers.
IndiGoa is situated at the entrance to the Karama Hotel, next to Manama Supermarket. It will serve authentic Goan cuisine with pure Konkani music entertainment—both live and DJ—every day.
“With a capacity of comfortably seating over 80 people, the restaurant will attract people from all walks of life and is not restricted to Goa. Since Goan cuisine and music are very popular in this part of the world, we have launched an exclusive Goan theme restaurant”, says Lobo.
The launching ceremony will be at 8.00 pm on Friday December 18 with Remo and other dignitaries. Usual business will begin thereafter and every day the outlet will be open from 11.00 am to 3.00 am.
