Dubai, Jan 26: Dr Mohamed Kaup, hailing from Kaup near Udupi in India, who is the dean and director at the London American City College and World of Knowledge Management Development Centre (WKMDC), UAE, ICBEST FZC, Sharjah and ICBEST, India managing the Management Development Programs and University’s Degree Programs of the Madonna University, Michigan, USA fully accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, USA and the City of London College, UK fully accredited by the British Accreditation Council, UK respectively. In view of his exemplary performance in the higher education at the Madonna University, Dr Kaup has been conferred with Madonna University’s Distinguished Leadership Award 2010 in Higher Education by Dr Sister Rose Marie Kujawa, CSSF, PhD, President of the Madonna University at theirAdministrative Council Meet in Livonia, Michigan, USA.

Dr Kaup is also the Adjunct Professor of the Madonna University, Michigan State, USA, City of London College, England and several other institutions around the world. Dr Kaup has outstanding ability to integrate academics into the industries by focusing on strategic vision and change management. Dr Kaup is currently involved in teaching the Masters and Bachelor degree students of the Madonna University in the Middle East and India Region.
 
Dr Kaup has almost two decades of experience in teaching, training and research. Over the past seven 7 years, Dr Kaup has been actively involved in fostering education and research at the Madonna University, Michigan State, USA.

Dr Kaup holds a Ph.D from India, Doctorate and MBA from USA, PGDMS from the UK, besides being a Law Graduate and a Fellow Member of the Management Research Program (1999) from India. He is also a Associate Fellow Member of All India Management Council (1997).
 
Dr Kaup also holds a PGDPM, Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from India.  Dr. Kaup has also been a Faculty for the American Hotel and Motel Association, Michigan State, USA for its programs in the UAE. Dr. Kaup has been the Research Guide for the Ph.D. students in the Middle East Region. He has also has expertise in Operations, Quality, Strategic Management and Creative Problem solving concepts.

Dr Kaup also served as the Professor, Deputy Director and Head of Business Studies Department of the affiliate of the Lincoln University, UK and National American University, USA. In this capacity, he was involved in delivering lectures, planning academic activities, coordinating and administering the activities of the Department and liaisoning with other Departments. Further, Dr. Kaup has served as the Program Leader for B A (Hons.) in International Business Administration Program.
 
Family Profile
 
Dr Kaup Mohamed born of Kaup Usman and Amina Usman, who have settled down in Kalya, Kaup. Married to Aasheen, they have two daughters, Misbee and Manal, who are now studying in Indian High School, Dubai.  Dr. Kaup’s sister, Mumtaz Zakir and two younger brothers  Hameed Kaup and Haneef Kaup also live in Dubai.
 
Awards and Recognitions
 
Dr Kaup has been honoured with several awards including Management Excellence Award, Educational awards, Intellectual Award, etc for his immense contribution to academics.
 
Dr Kaup has been conferred with the Patron Research Membership (PRM) award, MSPI Excellence Award in Education – 2005 in recognition of his distinguished services to the society and excellence in Education, and Man of the Year 2005 Award in recognition of the outstanding achievement in the field of Management studies from India. FMSPI Certificate of Fellow Memberships was awarded in 1988  in Delhi towards his contribution to the education.
 
A Star of Bearys Award was conferred on Dr Kaup in April 2007 by the BCF towards his contribution to the community and society. Dr Kaup has around 17 research publications in various journals and has also been an active contributor in various projects of the Government of India namely Centre for Advanced Technology, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre etc.
 
Dr Kaup has been conferred a Certificate of Appreciation from the Madonna University, Michigan State and American Heritage University of Southern California, USA towards his contribution to educational development and research in the Middle East and Asia regions.

His current area of research interest is in Operations and Production Management, Strategic Management, Quality Management, International Consumer Law, Creative Problem Solving – A Total Systems Approach, Decision Making, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Project Management, Marketing, Strategies for Success, etc.
