Mangalore: Judicial Custody for Three for Pelting Stones at Mosques
Daijiworld Media Network—Mangalore (RS/CN)

Mangalore, Feb 2: Ullal police arrested three persons for pelting stones at two mosques and Yathimkhana and produced them before the JMFC III Court in the city. They have been remanded to judicial custody till Tuesday February 16.

The arrested are Sandeep, Tarun, and Sumesh. All are residents of Kumpala area.

Sumesh is a practicing advocate in the city and also a member of the Bajarang Dal. Police sources said that the other two accused did it as a favour to Sumesh and the stone-pelting plot was sketched with him.

Police first arrested Sandeep and Tarun and following interrogation, nabbed Sumesh from the city.

Mangalore: Stoning of Mosques, Yateemkhana Linked to Bajrang Dal Split
Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Feb 2: The Ullal policemen have found out that the activists of Bajrang Dal were involved with the incident of pelting stones at two mosques in Kumpala near here and a Yateemkhana (orphanage). It is also learnt that the stoning incident was a fall out of an internal squabble within the Dal.

Reportedly, two factions owing allegiance to Vijaya Prakash, a Bajrang Dal leader in Kumpala, and Sumesh, advocate and another Bajrang Dal leader, had a long-standing enmity against each other. Vijaya Prakash had planned to part ways with the Dal and start the local unit of Hindu Jagaran Vedike on Sunday January 31, while the faction headed by Sumesh wanted to spoil the inaugural.

It is learnt, that Bajrang Dal activists, Sandeep and Tarun, thought that prohibitory orders would be issued if stones are pelted at the mosques. Through this act, they wanted to stop the Bajrang Dal unit from splitting into two. In spite of their efforts, Hindu Jagaran Vedike was inaugurated, but prohibitory orders were also issued. While the Muslim leaders complained against Vijaya Prakash and one of his associates named Ganesh, the policemen saw through the plan and found out the real culprits.

The Ullal policemen have arrested Sandeep (21), living in Kumpala Ashraya Colony who works as a labourer, and Tarun (21), a carpenter by profession. It is said that the two consumed liquor at a bar in Tokkottu at night, attended a Bhoota Kola organized in Kumpala and then pelted stones at the mosques and Yateemkhana at about 2.15 am on Sunday January 31.

The arrests were made by Ullal sub inspector, Nagaraj and crime branch sub inspector, Shyamsundar.

MrM.Bhat/Mumbai. How blind you are. You are a manuvadi and manuvadis are planning these attacks by funding these unethical people. For you church or masjid is a cement structure and temples holy and built by the blessings of God. You dont see any holyness in churches and masjids. You only see them as cluster of steel and cement. You or your forefathers dont own India. Freedom struggle was collectively fought by Indians. These Indians consists of Hindus, muslims, christians, ssikhs, Parsis excpet manuvadis. Manuvadis were promoters of British Raj and enjoyed highest civilian positions and were enjoying the confidence and blessings of British. When we fought for our independence we were all Indians. Now all of a sudden we became aliens and you started calling us chrstians and muslims with a purpose of deviding society. Just go to any of Islamic countries save Saudi Arabia, experience yourself the degree of religious tolerance there. You can find lots of temples and churches and new ones are coming up. One dare not inflict minor damages to these places of worship. We dont need certificate from you manuvadis like you to call ourselves as Indians. Dont day dream about bringing back lost glory by promoting manu culture. Its now history. We are in 21st century. Start treating people with respect, equal. Dont try to play with the religious sentiments of people. Hurting religious sentiments shall have negative and irrepairable consequences. Change your thinking with changing times.

First of all thanks to Daiji for the wonderful work. Sumesh definitely look like a goonda, and he has forced innocent guys like sandeep and tarun to follow the suit ,well they look innocent. Sumesh should be punished severly for this evil act. I mean what ru going to prove by these acts attacking holy places. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

Think about your family who has brought you up what will they do if other groups comes and attack you. Remove hatred from your heart and love one and all. End of day people will remember only of your good deed. "Be nice to people on your way up because you meet them on your way down."

Mr. Jude, Mangalore Dubai. My comments about lured / deceptive conversions are based on my personal experiences and those of my close ones and not that of BD or any organization, as you state. I have been personally approached by the aggressive sects within Christianity (Advantists / Born Again / New Life) and have in-depth knowledge of their modus operandi.

They initially call you for prayer sessions, which are nothing but brainstorming & brainwashing sessions (including people faking to fall down unconscious, etc.) and after a few sessions they gradually start deriding your religion and try to hard-sell their lie to you that your religion is useless. I have seen gullible Hindus falling prey to this well-planned deception. It is nothing but marketing of your religion. The main aim of these groups is conversion and their soft targets are mostly poor Hindus, less educated Hindus and Hindus in emotional distress.

Therefore, Mr. Jude, it is you who should wake up to the truth. Remember there can never be smoke without fire.

There is a SKY & EARTH difference between RSS & BAJRANG DAL.RSS is not a millitant group. Had it been a millitant group,by this time India would have become like Pakistan. To attack RSS ,people straight away take Gandhi vs Ghodse matter. But if you read life history of Godse, you say Godse is also right ! He had high respect towards Gandhiji. But when Gandhi accepted Pakistan as a separate country ,he could not tolerate.

He said before going to gallows " Mahatma is the one who unites the nation. But Gandhi divided the nation. He is not Mahatma " Even he was not satisfied with help Govt of India gave to refugees from Pakistan. He blamed Gandhiji for the creation of Pakistan and communal violence between Hindus and Muslims. You may not agree with Godse's view. But he loved India too much. But Bajrang Dal shortly will become Taliban of India if it doesn't control its mind and hands too.

I am against forced conversions myself and therefore i will fully support any form of punishment that the law provides to those people who indulge in forced conversions.

Therefore instead of repeating this again and again please prove it. Just because the goons from the BD and Ram sene keep repeating the same lies again and again, please do not get brainwashed. The people who indulge in forced conversions need to be punished, but that does not mean that these goons can go about destroying our places of worship and justifying their criminal acts by spreading the boogey of forced conversions.

You may note that Bajrang Dal was formed to counter the oppression on Hindus & Hinduism from Islamic terrorism and lured / deceptive conversions by Christians. Moreover Mr. Jerry, you missed the point here. I condemned their actions and also wish to state that I do not subscribe to their methods which gives a bad name to the community. The division is bound to happen due to the differences in the group. When in the family brothers fight for silly issues, this type of division will creep up. Ultimately it is proved that the vendalisor are not for religion but for liquor and bar food. If the religious and community leaders do not condemn this type of acts, then it will be late to control the situations as it will be out of control. Money, power, recognition for selfish interests, leadership chairs are the root cause of all evil destructive thinking and action. Let these labourer eat bar food in the police station and in the prison.

Now Ullal police have the FIR. The investigation revealed that split in the BD prompted stone pelting of the mosque. Ultimately culprits are from BD. Can our CM dare to cut the hands off these perperators? No he cant, if he tries his hands will be chopped off and his chair will be taken away. Is he not puppet in the hands of these hardline and fascist organisations? I really feel sorry for the CM. Even if he wishes to punish, he cant because of his limitations. Lets employ security guards to guard and protect our places of worship.

We have thousands of masjids/dargahs, churches, missionaries, orphanages and millions of temples and nagabanas. At least employment will be created and some starving families will get their daily needs. These places of worhsip shall become a place of blessings and livelihood for the needy and I am sure peace will prevail.

If they are the true lovers & concerned for Hinduism, why they want to split and form different parties ? Is it not selfishness ? The authority should bring out the real truth behind damaging mosques & churches at their will as if the minorities have no body to safeguard their place of worship. It is better to ban those distructive organisations like Bajrang Dal, Ram Sena and Shiv Sena before they turn into a monster.

The poor Bajaranga Dal laborer are hooked up now on this case. Yes they are! It's 100% true that, some educated criminal minded people are misusing the illiterate poor laborers by brain washing them and ultimately their family will suffer due to these major sins. It’s not a matter whether you are a Hindu, Muslim or Christian but acting without thinking is nothing but a ‘foolish offense”! May Allah bless all of us to lead a respectful life in this world without harming any one’s feelings – Ameen.

If the Dal Goondas wanted prohibtory orders, then they should have destroyed their own homes, rather then a mosque, which does no harm to anyone, this theory is hard to believe, like the Sena/RSS fun or the police might want to cover up something, but this story itself might have been cooked by the police
