Mangalore: Top Scorer Students Honoured with 'Pudar Pratistan Puraskar'

Mangalore, Mar 21:  A felicitation function for top scoring students under Mangalore diocese with scholarships by Pudar Pratistan Puraskar-2010, was held at Milagres hall in the city on Sunday March 21.

Bishop of Mangalore Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D Souza presented scholarships to the students for the year 2008-09. Speaking on the occasion he said that the scholarships would be an inspiration which would encourage others to study well and score high marks. Scoring high marks is the first step in climbing the ladder of success in building a secure future for students, he added.
















































 

Several students of PUC and degree classes studying in various colleges in city were presented with scholarships for scoring highest marks for the academic year 2008-09.

Dr T J Quardus, Managing Director of Glowin Star Academy, Philomina Lobo, Deputy Director of Public Instructions, Jokim Michael Pinto, and President of Catholic Sabha were the chief guests on the occasion.

President of Pudar Pratistan, John D Silva and Vice President Fr Walter D’mello were also present.
