Srinivas University to hold second annual convocation on Oct 20

Mangaluru, October 17:
The second annual convocation of Srinivas University will be held on October 20 at 4.00 pm. The event will be held at Srinivas University, City Campus, Pandeshwar, here.

Dr C N Ashwath Narayan - deputy chief minister, minister of Higher Education, Information Technology and Biotechnology, Science and Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Government of Karnataka will be the chief guest and deliver the convocation address virtually. CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University will preside over the programme.

In this convocation, Sri Vidyadheesha Tirtha Swamiji of Palimar math, Udupi will be conferred upon the degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa).

Dr A Srinivas Rao – pro-chancellor, Dr P S Aithal – vice-chancellor, Vijayalakshmi R Rao, Prof A Mitra S Rao, Padmini Kumar – trustee members of the Board of Governors, Dr Srinivas Mayya – Registrar (evaluation), Dr Ajay Kumar registrar (development), Adithya Kumar – registrar (academic and development), Dr Anil Kumar (registrar) will be present on the occasion.

Over 38 ranks including 11 gold medals, 232 UG, 87 PG students, 1 PhD, 1 DLitt degree will receive at the event.

Dr P S Aithal – vice-chancellor, Dr Anil Kumar (registrar), Dr Srinivas Mayya – registrar (evaluation), Dr Ajay Kumar registrar (development), Prof Ashwini – media in-charge, Srinivas University were present at the press meet.
