Mangaluru, Dec 9: The Department of ECE, Canara Engineering College, Benjanapadavu, Mangaluru invites faculty and research scholars for a Faculty Development Program (FDP) of five days under AICTE-Training and Learning (ATAL) scheme from December 14 to 18, 2020. The faculty development program has been designed to give the participants an extensive overview in Artificial Intelligence with hands-on online training on current tools and modern techniques that are critical in solving problems in most domains. Principal Dr Ganesh V Bhat and HoD Dr Rajalakshmi Samaga B L and chief coordinator Dr Dayananda G K along with coordinators, Professor Vayusutha M, Professor Sreerama Samartha J G, Savitha Acharya have initiated and designed the programs. Many experts from IISc, NITs and industries in this field will deliver sessions in the workshop.
About the workshop:
The workshop aims at providing an insight into Machine Learning and its practical applications. It includes deep dive into Deep Learning, Tensor Flow, Google Actions etc. Topics have been so chosen as to motivate participants to apply and develop new ideas with support from experts directly. The principle is to bring people from different academic disciplines together, to promote their creativity and to work out ideas and concepts together with the motto of 'Practical application'. This would include building Machine Learning Models to solve problems with examples from practical use cases.

· Exposure to research directions in data science domain.
Who Can Register?
The faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions, research and PG Scholars, participants from Government, Industry (Bureaucrats/Technicians/Participants from Industry).
No fee will be charged from participants for the workshop.
When one successfully completes and passes the certification assessment, certificates will be emailed to the registered email address.
