Bengaluru: Kanara Catholic Association celebrates joyful 'MISTLETOE 2020'

Bengaluru, Dec 19: Considering the year 2020 being affected due to the pandemic, Kanara Catholic Association (KCA), here, decided not to be cowed down by the gloom, but to end the year by raising hopes and preparing our homes for the Christmas season. The intention was to rekindle the spirit of the Manglurean community and bring in the festive spirit of Christmas.

The annual Christmas extravaganza 'MISTLETOE 2020', was held online this year on December 13. A short presentation of 30 minutes was planned which was a combination of the Nativity scene depicting the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in a manger with Joseph and Mary, the shepherds and the three kings. This was to the tune of carols by the charming Priya Mendens and siblings Coreen and Maureen, Adrian and Brian D’Souza. The talented father-son duo of Rohit-Joshua Pereira then presented a medley of lively carols regaling the minds of the young and old alike.



The other artistes were Rowan Pais, Ajay Fernandes, Roshan Menezes, Cedric Vaz, Vivian Pinto, Gail Pinto and the little ones.

The message from president Hilma Roach was crisp with a warm wish of peace and joy for all. The scripting and direction were by Marjorie Texeira and the editing and digital presentation by Rohit Pereira.
