Mangalore, Jun 25: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) divisional president M B Puranik led the Bajrang Dal activists to seek public-apology with the Mogaveera brethrens at Mariamma temple here on Friday June 25.

Speaking to media persons, Mariamma temple trustee Devdas Putran said that Puranik from VHP has apologized in front of the temple and it’s our duty to forgive for mistakes are done by humans.

Though the organization has filed a case under section 506 against me, we as a community will forgive the members involved in the incident. The issue is an example that any organization that opposes the Mogaveeras will have to pay heavily, he added.
]
He also said that the other prominent people involved in the incident should seek apology at the temple within Tuesday. The key person Ashwin Kumar – corporator of Urwa and a certain Dinnu yet again did not turn up to seek pardon from Mogaveera community.

Mogaveera leader Satish Baikampady said that corporator Ashwin Kumar should have been at the location as the issue is a serious one and cannot be carelessly ignored. He being such a responsible person is answerable, he added.

It may be recalled that a group of Bajrang Dal activists had forcibly entered Mariamma temple, Urwa Market here on Monday June 21 and threatened the managing trustees over the legitimate plot located besides the temple.

Soon the miffed Mogaveera community held a press conference here on Wednesday June 23 demanding a public apology to veteran community leaders by the erring activists at the temple. Following this, only VHP divisional president M B Puranik accompanied a few Bajrang Dal activists engaged in temple incident and apologized calling a press meet later in the day.

Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi districts’ Mogaveera Mahajan Sabha president Keshav Kundar,  Mariamma temple managing trustee Devdas Putran, Ucchila Mahajan Sangh secretary and Hosabettu Mogaveera Sangh president lawyer Gangadhar Hosabettu, temple trustee Janardan, Yuva Vedike president Shobendra Sasihitlu, Baikampady Mogaveera Sabha member Yathish Baikampady and presidents of Elupatna Mogaveera Sangha were present.

Over 500 Mogaveera community members gathered at the venue.

    Dear Mogaveera Brothers,
These institutions have largely been promoted by communities who have ruled us over centuries.
Their children are made to study and get Engineering and Doctor seats and they instigate other castes to join Bajarabndal.

Goto a factory, bank or office, you will see only them and no mogaveeras.
We are made to toil on the seas and they rule the land.

    Beware, keep them away.

Mr Sujith Polali,I have no comments on your query because where I am residing there was no such thing happens. In the mean time all Indians are irrespective of HINDU,MUSLIM,CHRISTIANS are to be called as "Hindi"In the same time some of RS/BD people who are anti muslims for unknown reasons in India can we generalise Hindus are anti muslims???no and never. So together we build India and contibute for true RAMA RAJYA.JAI HIND.

    Mogaveer community,especially the
    youngsters should be very careful
about VHP and Bhajrangis. In the name of Hindutwa the VHP and Bhajrangis disturbed the peace in
Mangalore. Now M.B.Puranik has come out with apology as he knows
that his strategy doesnt work with
Mogaveeras.Upper class people should realize that Magaveeras are
    always veeras (Heros)unlike the
coward goondas of VHP and Bhajrang
Dal.Its a big turning point in the
history of Mangalore as the Mogaveera Community has taken the
    challenge.

Mr. Satish Kunder I agree with your quote ("These cowards of Sangh Parivar can only trouble the weaker community. If we are all united and strong, these people will never dare even to come near us") instead of recognizing us like hindu, muslim , christan let us first recognize us as Indian. We all has to stand united to build a strong India. THIS COUNTRY BELONGS TO ALL - HINDU, MUSLIM AND CHRISTAN. PLEASE STOP FASISUM.

Whatever it may be. The VHP has admitted its guilt and tendered unconditional apology. The damage control has been done. Now it is the time to forget the past and bond the relations and march forward. There are some opportunists who are keen to fish in the troubled waters. Mogaveera are very powerful and respectable community like bunts who are sincere and hardworking. Nobody can sideline them and they too are contributing to the economy of our country. I wish all my hindu brethren good health and harmony. United we prevail and devided we perish.

Misunderstanding if any between the Mogaveera community and the BD/VHP should be cleared and both should groups should work for the common good.
There are many people who are trying to create a rift between Mogaveeras and other Hindu brethren and hence tying to break Hindu unity. Hindus should unite and fight their common social enemies.
Hindu unity for eternal peace in society.

Even now its peacefull for us, but not for minorities, only because you people are bent upon breaking our patience and innocence over hundreds of years.
