Kylie Minogue Inspired by Lady Gaga

London, Jul 15 (IANS): Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has revealed that she is so inspired by Lady Gaga that she had to rethink about creating her new record "Aphrodite" after Gaga came into the music scene.

"Lady Gaga dropped a meteor in the middle of the pop landscape - which is amazing," dailymail.co.uk quoted Minogue as saying.

"But it meant that we had to take that into account. It wouldn't have made any sense to go down that road to try to fit in," she added.

The 42-year-old star recently struck some sexy poses on a photoshoot for gay magazine Out. She posed in a huge new hairdo and showed off toned legs in a sexy corset-style top.

However, the singer insists despite the worldwide critical acclaim her album has so far received, she hates dealing with any bad reviews, but it will never put her off continuing her career in the music industry.

"It cuts like a knife if I read a bad review. But in the end, how the album is received by the press won't make any difference to me - I'd still come back," she added.

Minogue says despite wearing a series of inspiring outfits - including her famous gold hotpants - she doesn't think of herself as a trendsetter.

She added, "I don't even have a tattoo. I'm so untrendy. I think maybe I should have one - I'd secretly like to have a galaxy somewhere."
