It's absolutely a personal decision. Let me share a small story that happened a few years ago... I know a couple who had some issues having a baby and no medical science could help them and they weren't of the Hindu faith. The woman's friend knew about this ಹಲವು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಾಯಿ temple and it's miracles suggested them to visit there once and offer prayer and soon enough they were bless with a baby and the couple took thier newborn to the temple offering thier gratitude. Now some may call it coinsidence or something else but for a couple who sincerely believed thier prayers were answered.

Thousands of Hindus pray at the Churches & Masjids day in and day out. That is THE secularism and democracy.

She begged for a child from Amritheshwari Amma, who is also called " Mother of many children” (Halavu Makkala Tayi) and she got one. This how she reciprocated the fulfillment of her request.

This is certainly a rare occurrence, in our society... This lady had the courage and the conviction to perform this ritual. Such public reverence will go a long way in bridging the divide between communities... Hope and pray that she is not ostracized by the religious in her community !!!!

A nice news.Whoever or whatever and wherever person makes a vow and later fulfill it as he/she made it,plays no role whether the person is from other religion .Afterall We believe in one God with different names. We need not see them from a different angle.I am very eager what she had on the thulabharam scale.
