Media Release

Mangaluru, Apr 10: 'Life is a journey and not a destination'. With that thought in mind, Carmel School CBSE Moodbidri organised a farewell programme for the class X students.

The day began with a farewell mass offered by Fr Rakesh CSSR. At the end of the mass, Fr Rakesh made a special prayer for the outgoing students which was followed by a cultural programme at the school hall.

The outgoing students were welcomed by the students of class IX by handing a symbol of a boat to signify their life and give them a message that they have to withstand all the hurdles and struggles which they come across in life.

An inspirational skit was enacted with a message on sharing their talents for the betterment of society followed by a group dance. A farewell song was sung by depicting their treasured memories in the school. The school greatly remembered the best outgoing students in the field of extracurricular activities and by handing over to them a token of love. Mementos were offered as a gesture of love and gratitude to each student.

The principal, Sr Jyothi in her message urged the students to stand by the values they imbibed in their school life. A special prayer was led by the school administrator, Sr Elena as well as Sisters and teachers. The students then took an oath ‘promising’ that they will be a beacon of light to the world at large.

Indeed, the day ended cherishing all the beautiful memories of the day.
