Bangalore: Police Rescue 15 Girls from Illegal Confinement
Bangalore, July 31 (DHNS): The JB Nagar police arrested four persons on Saturday for allegedly keeping 15 young girls in illegal custody at a house and rescued victims. The accused are Hari Prasad (44), Manoj (23), Babu (35) and Manjunath (28).
Police said the accused brought the girls to Bangalore from Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Kolkata promising them jobs fetching good salaries. They forced them to serve in a bar in J B Nagar, added the police.
The accused threatened the girls when they protested and confined them in a house. One of the girls managed to approach the police following which the police raided the house and rescued the girls. All of them have been sent back to their homes.
